This seasoned wallpaper designer never ceases to amaze us with her designs for hotels, shops, private members clubs, homes, in fact interiors of all kinds around the world. Refusing to compromise her art Tracy Kendall works bespoke, tagging puzzle pieces, sewing buttons, stitching row upon row of paper waves and handprinting the most quirky prints from her long low shed in Margate. This allows her to adapt each project to each client as required.
Her large scale cutlery design introduced viewers to the novel idea of non-repeating installations of wallpaper panels back in 1996. Since then the collection has expanded to encompass bespoke embroidery, painted, embellished and textural wallpapers and hyper-real photographic digital wallpapers.
Tracy has won numerous international awards for her designs over the last 23 years including the Elle Décor International Design Award for best wallpaper and is often called upon to tutor the next generation of wallpaper designers.
