God's own Junkyard

God’s own junk yard “where neon never dies”.

Chris Bracey was the Neon Man for 37 years creating iconic artpieces for David la Chappelle, Martin Creed etc. With a cult following in London and Los Angeles, his new & used neon fantasies, salvaged signs, reclaimed neon signs, old movie props and retro displays have surfaced everywhere from Soho sex shops to bars and night clubs sound the world.

Chris was responsible for signs that appeared behind stars in some of the most evocative scenes in films including Eyes Wide Shut, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Batman. When the film is wrapped, neons are discarded like yesterdays newspapers, unwanted, unloved. Repaired and resurrected, coupled with quirky art and powered up these pieces shine like jewels of light, becoming icons in their own right.

The family business continues apace after Chris’s untimely passing in 2014 with wife Linda and sons Marcus, Matthew and Max at the helm.
