Design Heaven at Midcentury Modern®

We are thrilled to announce the return of Havelock Studio to our 20th-anniversary Midcentury Modern®, as our contemporary floor has always placed a strong emphasis on craftsmanship. Jack Havelock Bailey, a former architecture student, skilfully blends traditional and modern manufacturing techniques to craft items that seamlessly merge practicality with beauty, using materials such as wood and concrete.

New to the fair is Elliott Packham, whose love for brutalist aesthetics shines through in his work and Timber Robot Studio, known for creating exquisite limited edition furniture and sculptures. Adding a touch of retro charm, check out Nic and Roz, former commercial designers behind the gutsy homeware brand Storigraphic.

Mabel Sheppard graces us with her impressive collection of gloves and bags, and the Icelandic-British fusion knitwear brand, Omhu, presents a stunning range. Tomas Kitchen Living is another of the remarkable talents you can expect at this event.

20th Birthday with a Swing

We look forward to welcoming Real Voices, a community of non-auditioned contemporary choirs in South London to Midcentury Modern® on Sunday 19 November. They will be coming along to get the party started so please come and join in the fun.

Open to all who love to sing, Real Voices strives to challenge expectations of what a non-auditioned choir can achieve whilst having a brilliant time in the process. Supported by a professional house band, expect choral renditions of classic pop/rock favourites, indie gems, modern alt-folk anthems and recent chart hits.

With choirs located in Balham, Brixton, Clapham, Crystal Palace, Deptford, Tooting & Vauxhall, Real Voices is the perfect choice to help us celebrate our 20th birthday whilst keeping it local and authentic with that special South East London vibe.

Your beaming smiles, the presence of skilled dealers and designers, and the captivating showcase of C20 all contribute to the delightful atmosphere. To show our gratitude for your integral role in our 20 year journey, we've introduced two impressive Polaroid cameras at the fair – one stationary and one mobile. By participating in our photo sessions, you will receive a memento of your day.

Strike a pose with your favourite item and share your Polaroid pictures on Instagram or TikTok to enter our competition to win four free tickets for the next show.
